AN appeal has been launched after a dog lost its sight in one eye after being attacked by another dog.
The attack happened on Friday, January 3 at around 11.40am when a dog owner was walking their dog along Taylor's Hole by Pennington Brook towards Leigh Sports Village.
The owner's dog was then attacked by a dark brown Staffordshire Bull Terrier type dog.
This has resulted in the owner's dog losing sight in her left eye.
The owner of the Staffordshire Bull Terrier type dog left the scene without providing details.

He has been described as a white man of a slim build, gaunt looking, 5"6 tall with short dark hair wearing a dark navy bubble jacket.
Police are appealing for witnesses and any information to assist in the investigation regarding this incident.
