A man carrying heroin, crack cocaine and a meat cleaver was chased around a town by police before being arrested and charged.
On Wednesday, officers from the Targeted Crime Team witnessed a suspected drugs transaction in the Duke Bar area of Burnley.
Police attempted to stop the driver of a silver Peugeot but it made off and a pursuit ensued around Colne Road.
A spokesperson for the police said: "On Wednesday officers from the Targeted Crime Team witnessed a suspected drugs transaction in the Duke Bar area of Burnley by the occupants of a Silver Peugeot.
"Officers from the Neighbourhood Team and TacOps attempted to stop the vehicle but it made off and a pursuit followed around Colne Road before the vehicle was stopped and driver detained."
Kyle Alman, 24, from Manchester was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, dangerous driving and possession of a bladed article after heroin and crack cocaine worth £680 was recovered along with phones, cash and meat cleaver.
The spokesperson added: "A top job by several departments working together to take drugs and weapons of the streets."
