A man has been fined
A 43-YEAR-OLD man has been fined after pleading guilty to assault.
Stephen James Cottrill, of Leigh Road, Hindley Green, was sentenced at Merseyside Magistrates' Court.
He admitted to a charge of assault by beating of a woman in Liverpool.
He was fined £500, made to pay £75 in compensation, a £50 surcharge and pay £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
