A MAN who sent threatening messages has been given a suspended sentence.
Craig Edward Hastings, of Smiths Lane, Hindley Green appeared at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates' Court.
Hastings, 30, pleaded guilty to three charges of sending electronic communications which conveyed a threat.
He admitted to two charges in relation to threats sent to a female in December 26, 2018 and April 14, 2019 and to sending threats to another person on April 13 and 14, 2019.
He was given a six-week sentence, suspended for 12 months and two-year restraining orders not to contact the victims.
Hastings was also made to pay a £115 surcharge and £85 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
