YOUNGSTERS from all over Westhoughton flocked to church on Sunday to enjoy a fun day.

Hope Church welcomed families to their Big Fun Day at the Hope Community Centre in Central Drive, Westhoughton.

Organised by Mark Taylor, the leader of Hope Church, the day involved a fun fair, community stalls, face painting, trampolines and performances from a stilt walker and fire eater.

A DJ, a football tournament and representatives from the police and fire service also provided entertainment.

Among the youngsters revelling in the sunshine were Olivia Southware, aged three, from Blackrod, and two-year-old Casey Thompson-Bromley, from Westhoughton.
