WANDERERS are aiming to send young goalkeeper Rob Lainton out on loan to gain more first-team experience.

The Manchester-born stopper has recently returned to full fitness after nearly a year out with thigh and shoulder injuries and is looking to progress his promising career.

Lainton, who has been with the club since under-15s level, has appeared on the subs bench for the Whites but is yet to break into the first team.

It is understood Wanderers are now putting feelers out into the Football League to try to get the highly-rated youngster some more game time.
