Wanderers hand trial to ex-Southampton and Arsenal midfielder
WANDERERS have handed a trial to ex-Arsenal and Southampton youth product Chris Regis.
The 6ft 3ins midfielder, 20, was released by Colchester United in January but has since been looking to relaunch his career in the non-leagues, turning out recently for Isthmian League Sittingbourne.
A former England Under-17 international, Regis was named in the starting line-up for the Under-23s’ home game against Nottingham Forest tonight.
