WANDERERS’ Under-18s have been handed a tough tie in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
Nicky Spooner’s side will travel to Middlesbrough, who currently sit fifth in the Premier League North table.
No date has been set for the match at time of writing, although ties are due to be played before December 16, unless otherwise agreed, with the fourth round draw due on December 4.
Wanderers bowed out at the second round stage last season with a surprise defeat at Chester.
They reached the quarter-final stage in 2013, bowing out to Nottingham Forest, and have once before made the semi-finals, losing over two legs to Manchester United in 1956.
