WANDERERS have completed the loan signing of Liverpool defender Jon Flanagan.
The England-capped 25-year-old spent last year at Burnley but has made 51 senior appearances for the Reds over seven seasons.
Flanagan recovered from a serious knee injury to earn a new three-year deal at Anfield in 2016 but has struggled to get first team football under Jurgen Klopp.
Falling behind Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold in the pecking order, the Reds academy graduate has also had problems off the field, including a 12-month community order for assaulting his girlfriend in an incident in Liverpool City Centre.
Able to play right-back or left-back, Flanagan will go straight into Phil Parkinson’s squad to face Bristol City on Friday night.
