The Big Picture, the great weekly feature in The Bolton News every Tuesday which showcases a grassroots sport photograph from our archives, this week shows two runners battling for victory at the end of the junior men's race at the East Lancashire Cross Country Championships in Leigh in November 1987. The details accompanying the picture say the runner wearing number 0012 is the winner, Paul Freary of Bolton United Harriers, and the runner wearing 0074 is G. Davey of Stretford AC. Do you remember the race? Were you taking part or watching it? If the picture brings back any memories email neil.bonnar@nqnw.co.uk
