NOTTINGHAM Forest owe it to the other clubs in the relegation race to maintain top form at Wanderers, says Aitor Karanka.

On paper, the Reds have little to play for at the Macron Stadium on Sunday, with all focus on whether Phil Parkinson’s men can escape the bottom three.

Forest have already done Wanderers one favour in the run-in, beating Barnsley, and the Spanish coach insists his side will have the same intensity this weekend.

“The responsibility will be the same as it was here and when we played Barnsley,” said Karanka in the Nottingham Post. “We need to try to win every single game.

“I will make sure that we train this week in the same way as we have done in the last two or three months.

“We want to win the game. If I was the coach of Barnsley, Burton, Birmingham or Reading, I would like it if Forest did everything we could to win the game against Bolton.

“Again, for me, every game is important. We will approach the game in the best way; in the right way. We want to win every game, no matter what.”
