THE funeral of Bolton cricket legend Larry Booth will take place this Friday at Overdale West Chapel, Bolton, at 12pm.
It will be followed by a wake at Farnworth Cricket Club, Lavender Road.
Larry was exceptionally well known, respected and liked in local cricket circles, having played for most of his life as both a professional and amateur in the two Bolton leagues.
He passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Sunday, August 19, aged 72.

The family has asked that it is family flowers only at the funeral and that any donations in lieu of flowers can be made payable to Seasons Funeral Services, 1-3 Morris Green Lane, Bolton, BL3 3JD and will be distributed to various charities.
