THIS week's delve into the picture archives at The Bolton News has unearthed this picture of a Mount St Joseph's School team from May 1987.
The information accompanying the photograph says the team were pictured before the final of the Bolton Wanderers Schools' Cup in which they faced Thornleigh.

The second picture is from 40 years ago and features Highfield FC.
Taken in September 1978, the information on the back of the old photograph says the Hindley-based side played in the Bolton Combination and were unbeaten in their first five matches.
