ANYONE interested in playing hockey is invited to attend an open day tomorrow.
The Bolton Sports Federation Ladies' Hockey League are holding the event at Canon Slade school between 1pm and 3pm.
Girls and women aged 12 and above are welcome to take part in mini games and training and watch demonstrations.
Hockey sticks will be provided for anyone who does not have their own, and it is recommended those intending to take part wear safety equipment, such as a gumshield and shin pads, suitable sports clothing and all-weather surface footwear.
All Bolton League clubs will be represented and are able to recruit any players who wish to join a team.
The league begins with a tournament a week on Saturday and matches are played on Saturday afternoons throughout the winter.
