THE winter meetings of the Lancashire Association of Cricket Officials northern branch start at Unsworth Cricket Club, Pole Lane, Bury on Thursday October 4, starting at 7.45pm.
The topic for discussion is 'that was the season that was' and it is an opportunity to discuss the more unusual occurrences which cropped up during the season and how umpires and scorers from different leagues would have dealt with them.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in cricket and everyone is welcome to attend.
