BOLTON’S boxing Jacks both chalked up victories in their latest bouts on Saturday night at Oldham Leisure Centre.

Farnworth’s Jack Flatley extended his unbeaten professional record to 13 fights, 12 of which have been wins, with a points triumph after six rounds against 30-year-old Yorkshireman Harry Matthews.

The 23-year-old super middleweight won 60-54 against his opponent from York.

On the same bill, Little Lever’s Jack Cullen, also a super middleweight, notched the 14th win of his pro career with a technical knockout against Alistair Warren from Huddersfield.

Twenty four-year-old Cullen, nicknamed ‘Little Lever Meat Cleaver’ had his 31-year-old opponent struggling in round three and he went down after a body shot earlier in the round before failing to beat the count.

Cullen is next expected to be in the ring in December looking to extend his record from 14 wins from 15 fights.
