BOTH Bolton Futsal Club teams made it two wins out of two for the season with victories at the weekend.

The first team edged their game against Cheshire Futsal with the closest of victories, while the Bolton development team romped to a 10-2 victory over Tranmere Rovers development.

The double home fixture at Smithills Sports Centre began with the development team's big Division Two North win in which Kai Lawless scored five goals, March Mangoro two and Adam Mahon and Andy Alston one each with the other an own goal.

The thrills the following Division One North game threw up showed no sign of happening when Bolton's first team appeared to have virtually killed the game off with four early goals.

After going into half time 6-2 in front, the home side found themselves under pressure in the second period by a Cheshire side who are one of the favourites to win the league and boast two English and three Welsh internationals.

Cheshire pulled it back to 6-5, Bolton scored next, Cheshire made it 7-6 with two minutes to go and then got a penalty with less than 10 seconds remaining due to the home side committing a sixth foul.

In a dramatic finish Cheshire hit a post with the spot kick to give Bolton Futsal a victory which had been secured with three goals from Matt Carr, and one each from Mihi Goia, Dan Faulkner, Tom Bateman and Jose Sabatel.
