RACHAEL Hancock's impressive debut season in the green of Lostock AC continued as she stormed to two podium finishes at local trail races.
First up on Saturday was the four-mile Trick or Treat race at Barrowford.
Turning in a time of 34mins, Hancock was third-placed woman.
Fellow Lostockers Andy Laycock and Mark Checkley also enjoyed age-group success, Laycock clocking a time of 34:55 to finish first in his age group, and Checkley was second in his age group in 36:51.
Hancock went one better the following day at the Serpent 6 Trail race.
Starting and finishing in Belmont, the course follows a hilly route around the moorland of Smithills Moor, which Hancock finished in 46:59 to finish second woman overall.
Gareth Pratt and Donna Kelsall turned in equally strong times of 47:59 and 51:19 respectively.
Meanwhile, Lostock AC held its annual chairman's road race during the week, with Clive Worthington and James Jackson triumphant in the men's races, and Jocelyn Chadderton winning the women's event.
