THIS week's delve into the sporting archives at The Bolton News has dug up this picture of the Bolton Under-15s town team taken in August 1986.
The team are lining up ahead of the new season in their kit sponsored by the then Bolton Evening News.

THE second picture was also unearthed this week and features Moss Bank FC's under-14s from July 1989.
The information accompanying the picture says the team had just completed a successful season where they maintained their record of not conceding a point since entering the Bolton Boys' Federation two seasons earlier.
It adds all 13 players, who won a back-to-back league and cup double, attended Centres of Excellence at professional clubs.
