TWO Bolton girls got a taste of the England football scene at national training camps earlier this month.
Lizzy Harkness and Anna Phillips were called up to train alongside the best female footballers in their age group in England and play matches against other countries.
Bolton School Year 10 pupil Harkness, who plays for Everton, was part of the England Under-15s squad who went to Switzerland.
While Manchester City player Anna Phillips, who is a year above Harkness at Bolton School, was selected for the England U16 squad to train at Loughborough University and play against Spain, Italy and France.
