WANDERERS (4-4-1-1)

REMI MATTHEWS…6

Not the busiest night – a couple of decent saves and scurries from goal – but beaten twice by good finishes.

PAWEL OLKOWSKI…6.5

Wanderers’ best player on the night. Tried to get forward and get things going and rarely gave the ball away.

JACK HOBBS…5.5

Had a pretty comfortable evening aside from being bypassed with the two genuine class moments of the night.

MARK BEEVERS…5.5

Awful night for defenders. Nuihu was easy enough to handle but Fletcher and Aarons’ movement proved more difficult.

CALLUM CONNOLLY…6

Made a decent fist of things at left-back but can’t help but feel we needed to see more of him in midfield.

CRAIG NOONE…5.5

Got up and down, as usual, and had an early chance into the side netting but his impact lessened as the game went on.

JASON LOWE…5

Not a successful return to the side for Lowe, who struggled to contain Bannan and Co.

JOE WILLIAMS…6

Put his foot in and tried to disrupt things in midfield but didn’t get the same grip he did on Saturday. One decent effort blocked.

GARY O’NEIL…5

Didn’t have anything like the same impact he did against Millwall and the quality of his set pieces dipped.

SAMMY AMEOBI…5

Bright for the opening 15 minutes but then went missing. Lost the ball on too many occasions and dropped too deep.

JOSH MAGENNIS…5.5

Didn’t get near enough to goal to cause any problems for Wednesday. Spent the night chasing lost causes, again.
