THE consortium looking to buy Bolton Wanderers has appointed two new directors to its board.
According to documents at Companies House, Football Ventures (Whites) Limited have added the names of Jeffrey Thomas and Michael James to the company.
Parminder Basran and Sharon Brittan have been the two names attached to the project since December when they first approached Ken Anderson to buy his majority share in Wanderers.
Entrepreneur, Thomas, aged 61, has worked with Brittan on other projects and currently holds directorships in 32 different companies.
James is co-owner of Prescot Business Park, the company which leased back office facilities and car park land in January 2016 to provide £5.5million of funding, which is secured against the Bolton Whites Hotel.
It has been proposed that the Westhoughton-based businessman, a lifelong Bolton supporter, will convert his debt into equity in the club.
Talks continued yesterday in the hope of concluding a swift sale of Anderson's shares – but sources warned last night that the deal could stretch into next week.
