WANDERERS players have returned to training, in preparation for Saturday's fixture at home to Ipswich, after staff wages were finally issued.
The squad had taken their industrial action on behalf of staff members, whose salaries – due last Friday – had not been paid.
Following yesterday's adjournment in the second hearing for the winding-up order issued by HMRC, staff have now received their wages and Phil Parkinson's squad reported to Lostock this morning.
The manager can now turn his focus to Saturday's fixture, given the go-ahead by the Safety Advisory Group and confirmed by chairman Ken Anderson in his latest web notes, and the club's bid to close the five-point gap to safety in the Championship.
The game is Wanderers' annual community fixture, with tickets priced at £5.
