PHIL Parkinson is praying for Bolton Wanderers to receive a last-minute reprieve this morning before their High Court hearing.

The Bolton boss will be watching on with fingers crossed along with every single supporter as the club’s very existence hangs in the balance.

Administration must be triggered before the 10.30am slot at the Rolls Building to avoid almost certain liquidation.

Parkinson has urged fans to keep faith, whatever the future holds.

“Along with every one of you, I’m looking forward to their being a positive outcome, or at least something which lets us know where we are,” he told The Bolton News.

“To say the least, the last few months have been confusing. They have been very, very difficult. But I look forward to the day where this is resolved and people can start looking to rebuilding.

“There has been so much negativity but this is a great football club and I feel for a lot of the people who work at the stadium and at the training ground, I genuinely do, because at Bolton there are a lot of lifelong supporters who work here and they have been through a lot.”
