WANDERERS will kick-off their campaign in League One with a trip to Wycombe Wanderers.

The first-ever league meeting between the two sides will take place on Saturday, August 3 at Adams Park - a 383-mile round trip for the Bolton supporters.

The first league home game of the new campaign will be played against Coventry City on Saturday, August 10.

The season will also conclude with an away trip – with Wanderers facing Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium.

The Christmas schedule is relatively kind to the Whites. Three home games – Southend United (December 21), Shrewsbury Town (December 29) and Burton Albion (New Year’s Day) are separated by a game at Sunderland on Boxing Day.

The Easter weekend sees a Good Friday trip to Ipswich Town (April 10) followed by an Easter Monday game against Gillingham at home (April 13).

Local derby fixtures are also spaced out well with Bury away on Saturday, September 7, and at home on Saturday, April 18.

Wanderers face Rochdale on Saturday, October 19 at home and then travel to Spotland on Saturday, January 11.

Accrington Stanley host Wanderers on Saturday, November 23 and then come to the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday, February 29.

Midweek games currently planned outside the festive/Easter period are: Doncaster Rovers at home (Tuesday, August 20), Oxford United at home (Tuesday, September 17), Bristol Rovers away (Tuesday, October 22), Bristol Rovers at home (Tuesday, January 28), Doncaster Rovers away (Tuesday, February 11).
