Bolton Wanderers have endured a torrid time in recent months
THE Football Ventures consortium’s protracted takeover of Bolton Wanderers is finally set to be completed tomorrow.
All parties are burning the midnight oil with a view to getting the deal over the line ahead of the League One opener at Wycombe Wanderers on Saturday.
Final hurdles have been cleared today with the transfer of ownership set to be confirmed tomorrow morning, allowing the current squad to be paid and new signings to be made.
It promises to be a busy day at the University of Bolton Stadium, one that will give the club a much-needed boost after a torrid summer and set up manager Phil Parkinson for a campaign which the Whites will start on minus 12 points.
