WANDERERS (4-5-1)

REMI MATTHEWS…6

A couple of decent saves kept the scoreline down but needs some help in front of him after conceding 10 goals in the last two games.

HARRY BROCKBANK…6

Got up and down well enough but Blackett-Taylor’s pace and power but hard to handle at times. Put his foot in for the cause and got fans’ respect for doing so.

JASON LOWE…6

Made some important contributions early on to help keep things stable but playing out of position in the middle of defence. His distribution was needed in midfield.

YOAN ZOUMA…6

Showed his inexperience in a couple of the goals where marking was slack. Also showed his promise with good work in the air and on the ball. Possibly lucky to avoid a red card with a second half tangle.

JOE WHITE…6

At 17 he is doing a man’s job on the left side of defence. Had it tough against Morris and Wilson but stuck to his task.

SONNY GRAHAM…6

Worked hard against a physical midfield on his return to the team. Swamped at times but can’t really lay the blame at his door.

LUKE MURPHY…6

Tried to guide the younger players around him through the game but looks to be lacking a little spark himself. Understandable, given the circumstances.

CALLUM KING-HARMES…6.5

Showed some bright touches, compensating for the absence of Politic. Ran hard to try and create something for his team.

RONAN DARCY…6.5

Went close with a looping header and always looked to get on the ball. Didn’t see as much of it as he did against Rochdale.

JAMES WEIR…6.5

Took some time to get into the game but his passing was crisp and he looked Wanderers’ biggest attacking threat. Set pieces could have been better, though.

EDDIE BROWN…6

Has a big heart and deservedly got a standing ovation from the fans at the end. Didn’t get much service but worked so hard for the cause.
