BOLTON Wanderers have confirmed Jack Hobbs has re-signed for the club. 

The defender had agreed a contract in principle but was waiting for the Football Ventures takeover to be completed, the deal finalised on Wendesday night. 

Hobbs is understood to be the only player to have been signed in time for the game at Gillingham tomorrow, the registration deadline having been at noon, with the new owners working hard to strengthen a squad that has been supplemented by youth team players while the club was in administration. 

The former Liverpool, Leicester City and Hull City player arrived at the University of Bolton Stadium last season after leaving Nottingham Forest and went on to make 24 appearances for the Whites. scoring one goal.
