KEITH Hill has added former Leicester City and Rangers striker Joe Dodoo to Wanderers’ striking ranks.
The Whites confirmed the 24-year-old’s signing this afternoon, with Dodoo set to be added to the squad to face Blackpool on Monday night.
After struggling to make an impact at Rangers, the Ghanaian was released from his contract at Ibrox last month. He made 27 appearances in three years with the Glasgow giants.
Dodoo spent last season on loan at Blackpool, helping the Tangerines to a 10th-place finish in League One. The previous campaign saw him play eight games during a loan spell with Charlton Athletic.
The striker has worked under Hill’s assistant David Flitcroft before, having made a handful of appearances for Bury in the 2015/16 season.
“I am extremely happy to have signed with Bolton Wanderers,” said Dodoo after the move was confirmed on bwfc.co.uk.
“I have worked with David Flitcroft before and having left Rangers, I wanted to link back up with him to get some guidance, get game time and play for this big club.
“Flicker [Flitcroft] and the manager are building something special here and I want to be a part of the rebuilding process and get this club back to where it needs to be.”
