DENNIS Politic is back in contention for a place in the Wanderers squad heading for Lincoln City tomorrow.

The winger missed out on the 2-0 victory at Bristol Rovers through illness but could come back into the side if Keith Hill decides Chris O’Grady or Joe Dodoo are not yet ready to play two games in a week.

Defender Jake Wright told supporters in the FanZone last weekend that he hoped to be in contention for the trip to Sincil Bank after limping out of the 1-1 home draw with Sunderland last month.

Hill played down the chances of Wright, and others, making a comeback but admits there is progress being made on reducing the treatment room queues.

“Dennis is probably the only one we’ll have available,” he said. “The rest, we’re encouraging them back on to the training ground when they are ready. We are not rushing them.”
