WANDERERS have confirmed the departure of goalkeeper coach Lee Butler to Sunderland.
The 53-year-old has joined Phil Parkinson at the Stadium of Light after three-and-a-half years with Bolton – leaving Keith Hill looking for a new member of staff.
Butler arrived with Parkinson, Steve Parkin, Nick Allamby and Matt Barrass from Bradford City in the summer of 2016 and helped the club get promotion in his first full season.
During his time with the Whites he has worked with several keepers – including Remi Matthews, Ben Alnwick, Matt Alexander, Mark Howard and Jake Turner.
