DESPITE the rain staying off for a few days, 11 Bolton Sports Federation Over-35 Football League fixtures were called off on Sunday because of frozen pitches.
All Division Two and Division Four matches were affected, but three games were completed in Division One and two in Division Three, producing 31 goals.
There was no change at the top of Division One as the three leading clubs all won.
Daz Smith scored a hat-trick for Rochdale Sports, who beat Queen Lizzy 3-0 at home.
Salford Victoria won 2-1 at Horwich St Mary’s with goals from Marc Bailey and Dave Walker, while Mike Cowburn scored one for Horwich who dropped to fourth in the table.
Division leaders Radcliffe Vets A maintained their commanding lead as they beat Radcliffe Old Boys A 4-0 at home thanks to Stuart Telfer, Dave Malius, Rhys Day and Mark Ayers who scored one apiece.
The highest-scoring game of the day was Moss Bank hosting Ainsworth in Division Three.
Two Dez Wilcox strikes and one each by Martin Walker and Adam Hickey gave them five, a Gareth Harrison hat-trick for Ainsworth and a Duncan Cooper effort took the final score to 5-4.
Royal Farnworth stay top of Division Three following their convincing 6-2 home win against Heaton Casuals, however, with three games in hand, Heaton could still catch them in the title race.
Mark Murray and Phil Morgado scored the Heaton goals, but Royal Farnworth secured the points thanks to a brace each from Steve Nightingale and Lee Marks plus singles from Scott Baker and Martyn Brown.
