WANDERERS could face seven games in January after rearranging their trip to Lincoln City.
Keith Hill’s side will face the Imps on Tuesday, January 14, after the original game at Sincil Bank on October 26 was called off for a waterlogged pitch and surrounding areas.
A request to play the game last weekend was turned down by Lincolnshire Police – and some Lincoln fans are now upset that Bolton can reinforce their squad before the game.
Hill may need some extra options in what could be a challenging month in which the Whites face home games against Burton, Portsmouth and Bristol Rovers and away games at Rochdale, Lincoln and Shrewsbury.
Blackpool’s involvement in the FA Cup means the game at Bloomfield Road on January 4 now has to be rescheduled, and efforts are being made by the club to fill that weekend with one of the other ‘floating’ fixtures, most likely against Doncaster Rovers.
Fans in possession of tickets for the original Lincoln fixture have been assured they will be valid for the new date.
