WANDERERS (4-3-3)

REMI MATTHEWS…6.5

Made an important early save from Healy and then another couple more after the home side had gone into the lead and the game had stretched.

JASON LOWE…5.5

Saw quite a bit of the ball in the first half in a less-familiar right-back spot but up against MK’s best player in Gilbey it was never a comfortable afternoon.

JACK HOBBS…6

Couple of decent interceptions and blocks to keep the game goalless. Also had quite a bit of the ball.

TOTO NSIALA…6.5

The pick of the back four. Made some important interventions on the rare occasions MK Dons ventured into the penalty box.

BRANDON FLEMING…6

Worked very hard, which is becoming quite the characteristic. Had more touches of the ball than anyone else in a Bolton shirt – but also lost possession a fair bit.

DENNIS POLITIC…4.5

Showed an unusual edginess around the penalty box and gave the ball away too many times. Much better than this performance showed.

JACOB MELLIS…5

Won a few challenges in the first half but seemed to pick up a knock just before the break and was substituted quickly after the interval.

LUKE MURPHY…4.5

Didn’t have any real influence on the game after half time. Bypassed far too easily at times.

ETHAN HAMILTON…5

Penned back and defending his penalty area for the most part, we didn’t see too much of Hamilton on the ball.

ALI CRAWFORD…6

Still off the pace after four months out but he did show a few flashes of class, and what the Whites have been missing.

DARYL MURPHY…5

Combined with Crawford for Wanderers’ best chance of the game but really struggled to get involved otherwise.
