WANDERERS have doubts over whether Ali Crawford can start a second game in four days when they make the short trip to Blackpool tomorrow night.
The midfielder played his first football in four months at MK Dons on Saturday – an appearance he later admitted was “ahead of schedule.”
And though Bolton cannot now draw on the services of Ronan Darcy, who has suffered a setback in his recovery from a foot injury, Keith Hill said he had doubts over putting Crawford in again so soon.
“We had to give a little persuasion to get him out there,” he said. “But we have certainly missed him. He’s an intelligent footballer.
“It will be difficult to select him to start on Tuesday, I’ll see how he recovers. He’s still in the early process of recovering from what was a horrendous injury.
“I am pretty pleased with the progress a lot of the players are making. I got Sonny Graham on the pitch and one or two others who couldn’t be with us.”
