WANDERERS (3-4-1-2)

Had no chance whatsoever with the goal but came to collect a few high crosses and did well enough with his distribution.

Needed some convincing to move forward and get play started but won plenty in the air and was reasonable in possession. Gave away some cheap fouls.

Early on he was in the right place at the right time, holding things together, but as the game wore his influence waned.

Looked as if his race was run after an hour, which given his lack of game time in the last month is perhaps understandable. Another who conceded some cheap free kicks.

Kept motoring to the end, putting a great ball in for Gordon during injury time. Solid if unspectacular.

TOM WHITE…5 Retreated deeper and deeper looking to get involved in the game but ended up part of the problem. With no movement further forward, Bolton got bogged down.

BRANDON COMLEY…4.5 Hasn’t quite clicked for him yet in a Wanderers shirt. Some poor decisions in possession – Comley struggled to get on top of the FGR midfield.

LIAM GORDON…5.5 Could have been the match-saver towards the end. Got involved a little more in an attacking sense and linked well with Delfouneso on occasion but didn’t sparkle.

ANTONI SARCEVIC…5 Better than this. Should be driving the game but Wanderers were too static – and it needed someone like Sarce to get his team-mates by the scruff of the neck.

EOIN DOYLE…5 That missed chance early on will have hurt. That goes in, different game. You have to have faith last season’s top goal-getter will come good soon, though.

NATHAN DELFOUNESO…6 Was arguably Wanderers’ best player in the first half and kept working hard. You just have to hope something falls for him soon.

Subs: Crawford 56 (for Comley) – Made a difference and got Wanderers moving forward. 6.

Amoateng 71 (for Greenidge) – Youngster struggled to get himself in the game. 5.

Tutte 71 (for White) – Tried to get things going. 5.5.

Not used: Alexander, Taft, Hickman, Mascoll.
