LITTLE Lever’s Meat Cleaver will be back in action next month.

Former English champion Jack Cullen is on the big stage once again he takes on the returning Jamie Cox at super-middleweight on Matchroom’s November 14 card live on Sky Sports.

The show features three female world title fights including Irish superstar Katie Taylor defending her undisputed crown.

Cullen will be looking to get back to winning ways after drawing with Zak Chelli at ‘Fight Camp’ in August.

A rematch was never a formality and the Little Lever favourite will face the big-punching Cox while Chelli has entered a four-man Ultimate Boxxer tournament on November 10 that also includes Bury’s Ben Ridings.

"This is a big name in Jamie Cox, I couldn't have asked for a better opponent in the circumstances,” said Cullen, who has won 18 of his 21 fights.

“He comes to fight and as you know I bring it as well. It'll make for a fan friendly-fight for those watching I'm sure.”

Swindon Southpaw Cox, who has 25 wins and two defeats on his record with 14 stoppages, returns with a new team after two years out the ring.

The 34-year-old has mixed it with the best in Britain and came up short in a world title challenge against George Groves back in 2017.

He has not fought however since losing to John Ryder in May 2018 as he dealt with some issues out of the ring.

"I've been out a while now, I'm looking forward to getting back in there,” Cox said.

“I've got a new set up with Tony Borg down in Wales which has given my boxing a new dimension which I'll show in November.”

The fight has been added to a card topped by Taylor putting her lightweight world titles on the line against mandatory challenger Miriam Gutierrez.

On a big night for women’s boxing, Doncaster's Terri Harper faces her first WBC mandatory challenger in Katharina Thanderz at super-featherweight and Walsall’s Rachel Ball takes on undefeated Australian Ebanie Bridges for the vacant WBA bantamweight crown.
