WANDERERS turned in a dreadful home performance against Oldham, slipping to a 2-1 defeat which puts them 20th in the League Two table.

Ian Evatt didn't hold back in his post-match appraisal, branding the display "disgusting," so don't expect too many good match marks this week!

WANDERERS (3-4-1-2)

BILLY CRELLIN…5.5.

One fairly routine save from Danny Rowe just before the break but otherwise watched the ball bounce off the woodwork and flash across his box. Urged by Evatt to increase the tempo in the second half.

HARRY BROCKBANK…5.5.

Had been riding quite steady until midway through the second half when Oldham started getting in behind him. Used the ball pretty well, not the worst of the bunch by any stretch.

RICARDO SANTOS…6.

In possession he was fairly good, had time to thread a couple of killer balls, and won enough in the air, too. But on the ground, he failed to lay a finger on Rowe, McAleny and Co when they broke through.

RYAN DELANEY…5.5.

At 60 minutes he would have been a contender for man of the match but he had a horrendous final half an hour.

PETER KIOSO…6.5.

Maybe the only highlight on the day? Got forward, linked up with the attack, was unexpectedly proficient in the air. Must have wondered what he walked into.

BRANDON COMLEY…3.

Any good work he had accomplished in the first half, where he was generally positive on the ball, was undone by a sloppy and slow second half. Subbed for Tutte.

ANTONI SARCEVIC…4.

Wanderers may consider changing their home shirt to green because Sarcevic just hasn’t found his Plymouth form in Bolton colours. Better after the break.

LIAM GORDON…3.5.

Couple of bright moments in the first half overshadowed by some poor decisions on the ball and that ever-present chasm which appeared behind him in the second half.

ALI CRAWFORD…4.

There is a lot of pressure on the Scot to be the creative fulcrum of this team but he retreated deeper and deeper to have a negligible effect on the game by the end.

EOIN DOYLE…4.

Bolton fans have had faith that his pedigree would shine through but this was the first time where his overall performance could be brought into real question.

NATHAN DELFOUNESO…5.

Tried hard and got the equaliser but just could not get into the game. Not helped, it must be said, by the physical treatment which was not detected by the referee.
