IAN Evatt will be in the dugout for tomorrow night’s game at Mansfield after the FA decided not to charge him following Saturday’s full-time red card.
Referee Neil Hair issued the Bolton Wanderers manager with a yellow and then a red card after the final whistle at Tranmere Rovers’ Prenton Park, after Evatt queried key decisions in the 2-1 defeat.
But the Football Association has decided not to take any action again Evatt, meaning he will not face a touchline ban and be made to watch the Mansfield game from the stands.
“The FA have not charged me. They have dropped the charges, which is good.
“They have reviewed the match footage, reviewed what was said by myself and deemed that there should be no charges brought forward, which obviously speaks volumes to what happened on Saturday.”
