WANDERERS (4-2-3-1).

MATT GILKS…7.

One important save from Taylor and – perhaps even more important – a strong enough hand to push the ball away from the waiting Ntlhe.

GETHIN JONES…7.

Right in the thick of it for Wanderers and becoming an increasingly important player in this system. Happy to drift infield to link up and has a fantastic engine.

RICARDO SANTOS…7.5.

Bossed everything around him and though he might come up against strikers with a better supply line, he oozed with confidence at every juncture.

ALEX BAPTISTE…6.5.

Won lots in the air, kept things simple on the floor. The old stager is in a great spell on consistency at the moment.

DECLAN JOHN…5.5.

Starved of the ball for most of the game but also had a couple of sloppy moments. Even when not on top form, he still threatened the Barrow goal more than most.

MJ WILLIAMS…6.

Rattled around and clawed back possession effectively enough but the game was crying out for a touch more dynamism from the middle of the park.

KIERAN LEE…6.5.

Had a few bright moments in the final third but as the game wore on it felt as if one of either Lee or Williams would have sufficed to keep the opponents at bay.

LLOYD ISGROVE…5.5.

Got into some terrific positions but his cross radar was just not as accurate as normal. Still got through a mountain of work but a frustrating day.

ANTONI SARCEVIC…6.

Produced a couple of trademark surges into the penalty box and had a decent chance at the far post in the second half. Feeling his way back.

DAPO AFOLAYAN…6 Looked more of a threat when he moved over to the right but made a few wrong decisions around the penalty box that we’ll put down to youth.

EOIN DOYLE…5.5.

Unusually, he was a yard off it in the penalty box. That 13th goal is bound to come soon but the pressure is on with Miller in this type of form.

Subs: Gnahoua 6, 70 (for Afolayan) – Some good, some bad. But an impact nonetheless.

Delfouneso 5.5, 70 (for Isgrove) – Will be thanking Miller for the late strike.

Miller 80 (for Doyle) – Johnny-on-the-spot once again.

Not used: Tutte, Thomason, Elbouzedi, Jackson.

Barrow (4-4-2): Dixon; Eardley, Jones, Thomas, Brough; Barry, Banks, Taylor, Nthle; James, Quigley.

Subs: Kay 72 (for Ntlhe), Devitt 78 (for Banks).

Not used: Lillis, Goodridge, Sea, Bramall.

Referee: Alan Young 7/10 – Clamped down on timewasting and got the penalty call just right. Would have scored higher had it not been for a funny five minutes either side of half time.
