WANDERERS have spent just £52,673 on agents’ fees in the last 12 months, a Football Association report has shown.

Bolton were placed seventh among clubs in League Two, paying out less than half he fees of rivals Salford City.

Last year Wanderers were the only club in the top five divisions of English football to not pay a penny to agents or intermediaries.

The Whites have been in an EFL transfer embargo since May 2019 when they were placed into administration, which means they are unable to pay transfer or loan fees.

That embargo is due to be lifted this summer, provided EFL regulations are met with the payment of creditors.

A total £1,069,115 was paid out by all clubs at League Two level.

In 2008/9 Wanderers paid out an eye-watering £3,549,316 in agents fees as a Premier League club.
