WANDERERS (4-2-3-1).

MATT GILKS…7.5.

Unlucky with the goal after making a fine save from Thomson. Came up with another stunner in the second half to deny Jon Stead.

GETHIN JONES…6.

Improved dramatically after the break after being unusually poor in possession. Could do little about the goal – but showed strength of character to get back into the game.

RICARDO SANTOS…7.

Needed to be strong and was just that. Kept the physical Harrogate front line in check and used the ball well, stepping into midfield when he could.

ALEX BAPTISTE…7.

Got his head on the ball more than anyone on the pitch, which was priceless. His reading of the game really bailed Bolton out at times early on.

DECLAN JOHN…6.5.

Quiet early on but barely put a foot wrong in the second half and was involved in some of Wanderers’ best moves.

KIERAN LEE…6.

Below par in the first half and looked to be carrying the disappointment of Newport on his shoulders. Different story after the break and got a crucial touch to equalise.

MJ WILLIAMS…7.

Seemed to be engaged in a one-man battle early on. Williams looked swamped at times but eventually got some help in midfield.

DAPO AFOLAYAN…5.

Made too many wrong choices in possession. Carried the ball well at times but the final pass or shot was a little disappointing on the day.

MARCUS MADDISON…4.

Kicked up in the air in minute one, and looked a peripheral figure from there on in. Not his type of game – and Evatt admitted it had been a mistake to put him in.

LLOYD ISGROVE…6.

Hardly touched the ball in the first 45 minutes but carved out the equaliser with hard work and redeemed himself.

EOIN DOYLE…6.5.

Isolated for long spells and missed a big chance in the first half that he would normally take. Stood up in the second half to claim yet another winner.
