A HUGE number of BoltonΒ WanderersΒ fans have been left short-changed after blackouts during the iFollow coverage of Saturdayβs game at Grimsby.
An estimated 4,000 people tuned in to the game at Blundell Park to see if Ian Evattβs side could continue their promotion push.
And though the score-line left all Bolton supporters disappointed, the service produced inconsistent results across the country.
Wanderers have contacted the EFL to pass on their concerns and ask them to investigate why many people were left with no picture and sound for large parts of the game.
Fans pay Β£10 to watch the streaming service, which is governed completely by the league, with commentary provided by Bolton FM's Derek Clark.
The league issues refunds to supporters earlier this season after problems during a home game with Bradford City and many are now requesting that similar action is taken.

The screen randomly went blank at regular intervals. If you came out of watching in full screen, there was an error message. Upon refreshing the page it would work again, before going blank a few minutes later.

Not the worst itβs been this season but still hugely annoying!
I had the log out error twice. Just refreshed and it went. Also Grimsby scored two goals which was obviously iFollowβs fault!

Out here in Kenya it froze for a few seconds once or twice but basically it was ok, sadly can't say the same for the game itself (i joined it at kickoff so don't know of any earlier problems and caught up on the Newcastle game at half time so don't know if it went down then)

Blacked out about 20 mins from end, logged out then back in and it was fine

Watched it on laptop, stopped with about 10 mins left. Switched to phone and it worked fine. Strange π€·πΌββοΈ

Cut out before the game started and at half time. Buffered quite a bit for me in the first half but better in the second once rebooted.

I missed about 15 to 20 minutes.

Mine cut out mid stream. Good job Iβm good at improv π€£

But some fans had no problems whatsoever...
Fine in Liverpool π

Fine for me until about 75th minute and I lost feed. It asked me to sign out and back in again, which I did, and was fine from there. One point of credit: the camera angle was much better. Although of course they are at the mercy of the position of the gantry.

I had no issues, except the result

Honestly it wasnβt the best itβs been all season...great picture for me and no drop out issues at all
