WANDERERS promotion winner Zack Elbouzedi has joined Swedish top-flight side AIK.
Elbouzedi joined the Whites on loan from Lincoln City back in January and made 14 appearances as Ian Evatt’s men secured promotion back to League One.
“I am delighted to sign for the biggest club in Sweden,” Elbouzedi told the club’s website.
“I cannot wait to get going now, get into training with the lads and play in front of the supporters at the stadium.
“I want to thank the club for the opportunity and I look forward to helping the team on the pitch to get positive results.”
Elbouzedi – a former Republic of Ireland Under-21 international – has signed a contract running until December 2024.
The winger will now play alongside former Sunderland and Birmingham City midfielder Seb Larsson, and ex-Celtic defender Mikael Lustig.
He is the second former Wanderers player to switch clubs today after Jon Flanagan joined Danish side HB Køge.
