George Johnston was on target as Wanderers drew 1-1 at FC United of Manchester in their latest pre-season outing.
A trialist had put the hosts in front early in the second half after a bizarre error from Joel Dixon.
Here's what fans had to say.
Ronan Darcy really giving Evatt food for thought.

Performance poor, but don’t really care.
The fixtures against PNE, Barrow & Blackburn will be a proper test to see where we’re at.
Love the kit. FCUM played well. Like the look of Bakayoko. Hope Liam Gordon can get involved more.

Kit looks class.

Personally believe in Pre season and we need games that this to wake us up before the season starts. Last year we had it too easy and were shocked at the start of league 2.
No real stand out performances. Hoping we build some momentum to start league one off.
Hard to say with it being a friendly, but that 2nd half performance concerned me. No urgency and very little creativity. Has to be better.

Results dont really matter as long as we arent getting spanked. Little concerning the amount of very basic stuff made look difficult. Sheehan looked ok first half and Darcy and Senior did well second half. Kit looks decent

that was as enjoyable as toothache

Darcy remained energetic but the team’s performance was lacklustre. Not worried by what I saw as preseason is rarely an indicator for the season’s fortunes. Looking good at the latter stages. It just looked as though the team was practising possession and not looking to score.

Watched the game no urgency I know it was hot but still

Okay so it’s nice we got a draw, but the result, as it was against Longridge and Atherton, is irrelevant. What it means is there’s stuff to work on, not stuff to worry about. Bring on Tuesday V Preston! #BWFC
