WANDERERS have passed 10,000 season ticket sales for the upcoming League One campaign.

The new season will be quite a contrast from last term when all games were played behind closed doors due to Covid-19.

Supporters returned to the UniBol for Saturday’s 2-2 draw against Blackburn Rovers – the first time the Whites have played in front of a home crowd since February 2020 against Accrington Stanley.

Bolton boss Ian Evatt was delighted to have the fans back and insists it will impact the players over the coming season.

Speaking after the Blackburn game, he said: “For me, as well as enjoying watching the team play, that was the highlight.

“To have that atmosphere – and both sets of fans made it like that, to be honest – they showed what we have missed, the rivalry, the atmosphere, and the players bounced off it in a game with competitive edge.”

Wanderers kick-off their League One campaign on Saturday afternoon when they welcome MK Dons to the UniBol (KO 3pm).

Season tickets are still on sale, ranging from £289-£366 for adults depending on the stand.

Cheaper deals are available for over-65s, over-75s, under-23s, under-18s and under-12s, while family tickets are on sale for the Carrs Pasties North Stand Upper Tier.
