Wanderers put an end to their recent struggles in the Carabao Cup with a thrilling win over Championship side Barnsley on penalties.
Antoni Sarcevic, Lloyd Isgrove, Amadou Bakayoko, Elias Kachunga and Josh Sheehan all scored from the spot, while Joel Dixon saved from Devante Cole.
It's the first time the Whites have made it past the opening round since the 2017/18 season when they beat Crewe Alexandra 2-1 at Gresty Road.
