ANDY Tutte faces a spell out of action for Wanderers after he limped out of Tuesday’s reserve team game against Accrington Stanley with a hamstring injury.

The midfielder will have a scan to assess the damage but is not likely to play any part in the squad for this weekend’s home game against Rotherham United.

Tutte has played just 90 minutes of first team football this season in the Papa John’s Trophy and has not started a league game for the Whites since January at Tranmere.

But the 30-year-old, who signed a year-long deal in the summer after helping Wanderers secure promotion from League Two, has been drafted on to the bench several times by Ian Evatt as cover for the likes of MJ Wiliams and Kieran Lee.

Meanwhile, it is understood that around 16,800 tickets have now been sold for the Rotherham game, ensuring it will be the biggest home gate of the season so far.

The highest attendance so far is 16,087 for the opening day game against MK Dons.

Hopes are high that the number can edge closer towards the 20,000 mark by Saturday, with Wanderers holding their first Family Day, which will include music from Bolton FM and special appearances from Lofty the Lion around the ground.

“Saturday is a representation of what our club is all about; family and football,” said Wanderers chairman Sharon Brittan.

“After so many months apart, let’s celebrate how far we’ve come, both as a club and as a community, and just enjoy being together again. The support so far this season has been superb and we want to keep building on that.

“We’ve set prices for the game at an affordable rate to encourage as many fans as possible to either make their first step into the stadium – or their first visit back in a long time.

“Ian and the players are flying. Let’s show the team how big their Bolton family is and how each and every one of us is behind them every step of the way. I’ll look forward to seeing you all this weekend!”

Tickets for Saturday’s game are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for Under-18s and Over-65s.
