WANDERERS (4-2-3-1)

JOEL Dixon…8

Did well to keep out Mehmeti’s penalty in the first half and made a series of fine stops to keep Wanderers in the game after the break. Perhaps could have done better with the goal.

ALEX Baptiste…6.5

Made a vital clearance in the first half as Kaikai was arriving at the far post. Did well considering he was playing out of his preferred role of centre back, and given his lack of game time in recent weeks.

RICARDO Santos…6.5

Dominant as ever when it came to battles of strength. It would have been interesting to see him go up against Akinfenwa had the veteran striker been brought on.

WILL Aimson…6

Did a decent job alongside Santos considering the pair haven’t played together much. Looked a threat from set-pieces.

DECLAN John…6.5

Worked hard to support Afolayan on the left wing and caused the Wycombe defence a few problems with overlapping runs. Had a goal-bound effort blocked in the second half.

MJ Williams…6

Was perhaps unfortunate to give away a penalty in the first half. Hopefully his shoulder injury isn’t too serious and he will be back on the pitch soon.

GEORGE Thomason…6

Had a decent chance on the stroke of half-time but failed to hit the target from Kachunga’s cross at full stretch. Still learning his game but clearly has a lot of potential.

LLOYD Isgrove…7

Made the most of his opportunity back on the right wing after doing a stellar job while filling in for Gethin Jones at right back in recent weeks. His set-pieces lacked quality at times.

KIERAN Lee…6

Celebrated his 400th senior appearance. Had a decent chance in the first half but failed to make a proper connection.

DAPO Afolayan…7.5

Looked lively throughout the game and on another day could have had a couple of goals. Was at his dazzling best when running at defenders.

ELIAS Kachunga…6.5

Worked hard and got into some decent positions but couldn’t find a killer pass or shot when needed. Seems to be growing in confidence after a difficult start to his Bolton career.
