WANDERERS (3-4-1-2)

JAMES TRAFFORD…6.

One of the easiest clean sheets he will keep this season. One brief wobble as a second half cross slipped his grasp and nearly dropped to Chislett.

GETHIN JONES…7.5.

Linked up really well with Fossey in the first half and got licence to push forward on his own at times. Defensively, he was sharp as a tack.

RICARDO SANTOS…8.

No wonder the club are looking to tie him down to a longer contract. Dominant at the back, and went very close to opening that scoring duck.

GEORGE JOHNSTON…7.5.

Jones gets a lot of credit for his partnership with Fossey – but Johnston is now striking the same sort of link with Declan John. This was one of his best shows.

MARLON FOSSEY…8.

Ran the show in the first 45 minutes and still popped up in some dangerous positions after the break. Just keeps excelling.

AARON MORLEY…8.

Had loads of space to thrive and get on the ball, which fully warranted his return to the team. Set pieces were consistently dangerous too.

KYLE DEMPSEY…8.5.

Definitely his best performance since signing for Wanderers. Always available for the ball, worked hard out of possession and dominated the middle of the park.

DECLAN JOHN…8.

Really starting to come into his own. Had acres of space to exploit on the right side against a full-back who looked like he would like to get back on the team bus.

DAPO AFOLAYAN…7.5.

Looks to be on the same wavelength as Bodvarsson and Charles. His goal return this season is nothing short of sensational.

JON DADI BODVARSSON…8.

Just quality. Thunderous header to open the scoring, rarely looked like wasting the ball. You can see why Wanderers have brought him in.

DION CHARLES…7.5.

Buzzed around in that waspish style, helped create a great goal for Afolayan and then pounced for yet another fine finish. Dream start to his Bolton career.

Subs: Bakayoko 7, 71 (for Bodvarsson) – Missed one big chance but buried a lovely header.

Sadlier 7, 71 (for Afolayan) – Mischievous in the final stages.

Thomason 82 (for Dempsey) – Great to see him back.

Not used: Williams, Amaechi, Aimson, Baptiste.

AFC Wimbledon (4-3-3-): Tzanev; Osew, Heneghan, Kalambi, Brown; Chislett, Marsh, Walker; Kalinausakas, Cosgrove, Awokoya-Mebude.

Subs: Mightingale 65 (for Kailinauskas), Ablade 75 (for Cosgrove), Cosgrave 75 (for Chislett).

Not used: Csoka, Alexander, Broome, Williams.

Referee: Rebecca Welch 5.5/10 – Some bad calls on Wanderers’ penalty appeals. Handball was marginal but Bovarsson and Charles were fouled.

Attendance: 14,537.
